SUMMARY:The Future of Green Hydrogen: Challenges and Opportunities
DESCRIPTION:📍 Online | 📅 16th January\, 2025\nThis online workshop will delve into the exciting world of green hydrogen. Join and explore the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead in this rapidly growing industry. Hear from experts\, engage in discussions\, offer your perspective\, and gain valuable insights into the future of sustainable energy. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to learn and connect with like-minded individuals passionate about green technology. Register now and be part of shaping the future of green hydrogen! \nFeaturing \n\nDr. Ailbe Ó Manacháin FreeHydroCells Project Coordinator and Senior Staff Scientist\, University College Cork\nDr. Dara Fitzpatrick Director\, BARDS Acoustic Science Labs\n\n  \nThis event is organised by the FreeHydroCells project. FreeHydroCells is a multi-partner European consortium\, led by University College Cork (UCC)\, investigating a novel freestanding energy-to-hydrogen fuel generation by solar energy absorption system. Designated a “high-risk/high return” project\, this ambitious research aims to develop a low-cost solar-to-chemical energy conversion system designed using sustainable materials. This system has the potential to significantly impact the global energy supply market and assist in urgently needed climate action. \nFunded by the European Union.
