This event is organised by the FreeHydroCells project. FreeHydroCells is a multi-partner European consortium, led by University College Cork (UCC), investigating a novel freestanding energy-to-hydrogen fuel generation by solar energy absorption system. Designated a “high-risk/high return” project, this ambitious research aims to develop a low-cost solar-to-chemical energy conversion system designed using sustainable materials. This system has the potential to significantly impact the global energy supply market and assist in urgently needed climate action.
