Electro- and photocatalytic transformations offer sustainable routes to producing useful chemicals and fuels. This conference will cover a wide range of reactions, including hydrogen evolution, water oxidation, carbon dioxide reduction, and other small molecule conversions. At the heart of these reactions is the catalyst, whose design and/or optimization are critical to improving performances. Strategies focused on advanced on synthesis procedures, characterisation, in-depth mechanistic understanding, and integration into functional devices, are key to advancing these technologies.
The conference will be preceded by an advanced course session: Biocatalyst and Bio-inspired Catalyst Design Strategies for Photo- and Electrochemical Fuel Synthesis, organized from June 30 to July 1.
Plenary speakers will give advance lecture. We encourage young assistant professors, engineers, PhD students and postdoctoral researchers interested in this field to participate.
